NOW CONFERENCE CELEBRATES 150 YEARS OF FEMINISM;
DEVELOPS VISION FOR EQUALITY

June 26, 1998

"The 1998 Women's Rights Convention and Vision Summit will not only celebrate 150 years of struggle for women's rights, we will also develop our vision for equality in the 21st Century and a strategy for getting there," said NOW President Patricia Ireland.

This conference is the first step in a three year process that will carry NOW into the 21st Century.
