WHAT: will participate in the Women's Summit and protests held in conjunction with the Denver Summit of the Eight

WHERE: in Denver, Colo. The Women's Summit activities will take place at Auraria Campus and the University of Denver.
Ireland will speak at a rally at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Lawrence Street Mall on the Auraria campus, followed by a "March for Justice" from the campus to the State Capitol. Ireland will participate in a workshop on "Women and Violence" at 3:15 p.m. at Auraria and will attend a reception at 6 p.m. at the University of Denver, Driscoll North University Center.
The Women's Summit includes three days of public events designed to highlight the impact of globalization on women and families and to call for G-8 accountability to the principles outlined in the 1995 Beijing Platform for Action.
