NOW President Patricia Ireland Available for Comment

on the State of Abortion Rights in 2000

"On the eve of the 27th Roe v. Wade anniversary, the Supreme Court is once again poised to rule on an unjust, anti-abortion law," said National Organization for Women (NOW) President Patricia Ireland.  "We must mark this year's Roe anniversary with the political action and organizing we need for feminists to prevail in the upcoming elections."
