Mother Jane

Mother Jane's Lisa Raymond and Beth Burden.

Mother Jane's Lisa Raymond and Beth Burden.

Beth Burden is the founder of Mother Jane and queen of the sassy, soulful vocals (and hair). Lisa Raymond completes the duo with a fusion of vocals, 6-string jammin', cocktail drums, keys and more. For these girls, it's been almost 10 years, four albums and hundreds of live shows. For you, it's a journey into their world of edgy acoustic rock and a dip in the soul pool creating an unmistakable blend of sweet-laced and in-your-face original songs. Acclaimed Rob Reinhart named them "ones to watch" on his nationally syndicated radio program "Acoustic Café", and they have endeavored to make music that lives up to that honor.

Sunny Disposition

Carrie Pietz of Sunny Disposition.

Carrie Pietz of Sunny Disposition.

Born and raised in Michigan, Carrie Pietz started playing guitar when she was 12 years old, and by 15 she was playing local coffee shops and small venues. She moved to Indianapolis at 21, where she created her first band, All Things Blue. The band members went their separate ways, but Pietz had such a strong music connection with drummer Sue Lawhead that they continued playing together in many projects. For eight years now they have been working their way into some of Indy's finest venues. In the process they met an amazing guitarist/bassist, Ashley Plummer, from the former band The Peggy Sues. They created a whole new project called Sunny Disposition, consisting of Carrie's originals, Sue's brilliant beats, and Ashley's Funky bass lines slides. This music is fresh, uplifting, and very creative. It can only go up from here.
