A powerful documentary about two women who lost their husbands on September 11th, and responded by starting a humanitarian fund for Afghan widows. The documentary follows Patti Quigley and Susan Retik, who at once grieved and reached out women connected to them through widowhood.

White Rainbow
A moving story of sisterhood in the face of disempowerment, White Rainbow follows Priya, a tragically widowed young woman who seeks solace in the "city of widows." With the help of three diverse women, Priya leads the struggle for widows’ rights in a country where they are hopelessly marginalized.

Special Guest Jane Sloan, author of "Reel Women: An International Directory of Contemporary Feature Films about Women," will introduce all of the Saturday screenings and will sign her book.

Inlaws and Outlaws
This witty and inspiring film weaves together the true stories of couples and singles, both gay and straight, to explore the desires and insecurities that we all share. After the film, we wil discuss Anti-Equal Marriage State Ballot Initiatives in Arkansas, California and Florida, and how our chapters and members can help build our Marriage Equality Campaign and support our allies in the upcoming elections.

A compelling story of life on the border between the United States and Mexico, inspired by the tragic murder of hundreds of working women in Juárez, Mexico. The film features Jennifer Lopez, Antonio Banderas, and Martin Sheen and directly pertains to NOW’s Women of Juarez Campaign.

A powerful film which examines the remarkable case of Cuba, a cash-strapped country with what the BBC calls "one of the world’s best health systems." Augmented by testimony from health experts worldwide, the film provides a provocative commentary on the struggle for global health.
