Plan Your Trip to the
2005 National NOW Conference
in Nashville

The 2005 National NOW Conference may seem a long way away, but it's never too early to plan your trip. Here's some information to help you get started.

Travel | Conference Hotel | Dining | Fun

Travel

Driving: Get directions to Nashville by entering the hotel address into websites such as Mapquest and Yahoo! Maps. Once you've arrived in Nashville, the hotel concierge can provide driving directions to area attractions and restaurants.

Flying: You will be flying into Nashville International Airport (airport code BNA). Many major airlines, including American, Southwest and Delta, fly into this airport. Check the following links for travel deals: Southwest, Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, and Cheaptickets.

Getting Around: Eight national car rental chains are located at the airport; taxi and limousine services are also available. (A typical cab ride from the airport to the hotel costs about $20.) Additionally, there is a Gray Line Airport Express shuttle ($12 one way, $18 round trip) that departs every 15-20 minutes from the airport and approximately every half hour from the Loews Vanderbilt hotel, from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. Reservations are not required for the service from the airport, and special rates are available for groups and conventions.

Conference Hotel

The 2005 NOW conference will take place at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, located in the trendy west end corridor of Nashville, across the street from historic Vanderbilt University. Unique shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel, and Music Row and the Country Music Hall of Fame are also nearby. The hotel offers the following amenities:

    Dining

    The conference hotel has three dining establishments:

    • The Loews Vanderbilt's restaurant, Eat, serves three meals a day. Open daily, 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.; 5 - 10 p.m.

    • Its steakhouse, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, offers large portions and a cozy atmosphere. Open Monday through Saturday, 5 - 10 p.m., Sunday, 5 - 9:30 p.m.

    • The Loews Vanderbilt's lounge, Drink, offers a place to sit and have a cocktail while discussing the day's events. Open daily, 3 p.m. - midnight.

    Additionally, the following restaurants are within a mile of the conference site and Vanderbilt University. Many of the restaurants listed are in the $20-and-under price range.
