Thanks to her,
the prognosis for women has never looked better.
Science and otherwise, this tough-minded woman has always wanted to
change the world. Clearly it needed to change: under her exacting
social microscope, she saw her entire sex under siege. So she took
action -- marching, protesting and lobbying, and, along with hundreds of
thousands of like-minded women, began seizing control of her destiny.
Remarkably, the world she (and we) set out to change actually did.
Proving conclusively, for this scientist at least, the enduring power of
the human spirit.
