Thanks to her,
more women can command center stage.
Feminism shares a lot in common with her approach to music: seize the
note, attack the expected, then challenge the skies with a pure, unblemished
idealism that beckons forth the angels. Hers is a gift we greatly
admire: the power to transcend, to move and uplift, the power to take people
places they have never been before. She doesn't always reach the
summit of course, but like us, it will never be for lack of trying.
