Thanks to her,
there can be even more women in high places.

Lee Gillian knows all about life at the bottom.  Fifteen years ago, she got her start in construction thanks to NEW (Non-traditional Employment for Women) and was promptly "put to the test" by her male colleagues: walking the plank and pushing loaded mortar boxes.  That she earned their respect in short order was just the beginning for this determined woman.  Now, as shop steward for Union Laborers Local 79 and president of Working Women in Construction, she's using that respect to help other women get their just dues on (and off) the site.  So, how high can a woman rise today?  Thanks to people like Lee Gillian, higher than ever before.

We Need You NOW More Than Ever.
