Thanks to them,
feminism can have a lot more true believers.
The road they chose forked two millenia ago, yet their paths cross
almost daily. For this Rabbi and Episcopal Priest (the first in New
York!) share more than mutual respect and friendship. They share
courage as well, and were among the first to openly include lesbians and
gay men in their congregations. They also share a building, which
serves as both synagogue and church to their community. With us,
they share success: the spectacular rise of women, and especially women
in the clergy. Plus, an unshakable belief in the power of always
being true to your convictions.
