Invite local activists to the PAC Auction

We will auction off fabulous feminist memorabilia, including historic items from the NOW v Scheidler case, a watercolor painted by Senator Dianne Feinstein, autographed items from the nation's hottest women in politics . . . and more. The auction is sure to be lots of fun plus you get to support the NOW PACs, the only federal PACs that support the full range of feminist issues.

Internet bidders are invited to bid on items up until 8 pm on Friday, July 10. The live auction will begin at 10 pm. The Internet bids will be submitted to the auctioneer. If the Internet bid beats the live bid, the Internet bidder will be notified and the auction item will be shipped (shipping costs will be added to the bid price).

Follow these easy steps to participate:

1) "Register"online for the NOW Convention & Vision Summit. Complete the online registration form at http://www.now.org/conference.html

Find out how your chapter activists would vote!

The 1998 Women's Rights Convention & Vision Summit will provide online access to grassroots activists who want to communicate with their elected NOW representatives.

A Convention chat page will be established. State & local chapter Presidents/Coordinators, Regional Directors, and National Board members will be invited to post messages about Convention and Vision Summit activities. Local activists will have the opportunity to respond to these messages.

Chat page users will have online access to portions of the program book and vision summit materials. As the vision statement draft progresses, online activists will have the opportunity to provide feedback to their elected state and regional representatives.

Access is first come, first served. The chat terminal will be located at the California NOW booth in the exhibit area. The chat room is made possible by the generosity of California NOW.
