In these dangerous times for women's rights, I'm inviting you to make a special commitment and become an Equality Action Partner. You'll be joining a dedicated group of NOW members who make a monthly pledge to the Equality Action Fund as a tangible symbol of their dedication to justice for women.

Only by receiving a predictable flow of income each month can NOW be prepared to withstand the increasingly vicious attacks on women and women's rights. We must fight each and every assault as soon as it arises—because any delay gives our opponents more time to entrench their gains and take advantage of their greater financial resources.

Take a stand with this important group of members whose extraordinary investment in the women's rights movement allows NOW to act immediately and effectively.

The urgency and unprecedented danger of these times calls each of us to expand our commitment or risk losing our most precious rights.

To be a part of this distinctive group, all you need to do is pledge a fixed level of monthly support. Just think: $20 a month is only $5 per week—but it adds up to $240 a year! And maybe you couldn't write a check for $500 to support an issue campaign, but $42 a month on your credit card exceeds that amount in 12 months! Regular donations are particularly valuable to our work because they are steady assistance, month after month.

And each month I will send you an "insider" update on our work, including advance notice of our campaigns, press releases and news clips. Upon joining the Equality Action Fund, you will also receive a NOW lapel pin as a thank-you gift.

Help us determine exactly how much monthly funding we can count on for essential organizing by responding now. Making your pledge by credit card or by checking account transfer (EFT) helps us even more, since it saves processing time and costs and puts your gift to work right away each month. Of course, you may cancel your monthly pledge at any time.
