    CONTACT CONGRESS, FDA ABOUT NEW IMPLANT SAFETY RISKS

    New allegations by a scientist formerly employed by Mentor Corp. accused the company of withholding unfavorable safety data about silicone gel breast implants from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is currently deciding whether to approve these implants for unrestricted use.
