ON TITLE IX ANNIVERSARY, MICHIGAN POISED TO SEGREGATE
SCHOOLS
The Michigan State Senate voted on a bill last week, coinciding with
the 34th anniversary of Title IX, that would amend the 1976 Michigan Elliott-Larsen
Civil Rights Act to permit single-sex public schools, classes or programs
in Michigan. This week, the House passed three similar bills, moving the

RESEARCH NEEDED ON TOXIC PLATINUM IN SILICONE
GEL BREAST IMPLANTS
A new peer-reviewed study shows that platinum in silicone gel breast
implants could be toxic for women and their babies. The FDA has asked
for public comments on silicone breast implants, so they need to hear
from you! Meanwhile, the FDA is quoting an industry-funded researcher
who insists that implants are safe, despite the research to the contrary.
