ENRAGED AND ENGAGED: WOMEN'S CAMPAIGN TO DEFEAT
ALITO
We
are gearing up for the confirmation hearings of Judge Samuel Alito, who
has been nominated to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme
Court. Justice O'Connor has long been a defender of women's rights. We
cannot allow her to be replaced by a fanatical, anti-abortion judge.
Between Jan. 3-20, NOW and Feminist Majority Foundation are working together
to bring grassroots activists to Washington, D.C. and to mobilize activists
throughout the country in a campaign to defeat Alito.
