WOMEN'S RIGHTS ADVOCATES INTRODUCE THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT OF 2004

NOW President Kim Gandy joined Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), who introduced the Freedom of Choice Act on Jan. 22.

Kim Gandy and other women's rights leaders joined Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) last week to announce the introduction of the Freedom of Choice Act, legislation that would codify Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision protecting reproductive rights. Read more

ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF ROE V. WADE FEMINISTS MUST COMMIT TO PROTECTING REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS

Activists gathered at the Supreme Court on Jan. 22 to commemorate the 31st anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

"We are prepared to protect our right to abortion, birth control and all reproductive health services, as well as our right to have children and plan our own families without government interference," said NOW President Kim Gandy. Read more
