DEMOCRATS ADD THIRD JUDGE TO THEIR FILIBUSTER LIST
The William Pryor nomination to federal court has been tabled (see Washington Post article). President Bush continues to nominate contentious candidates to important judicial slots (see Washington Post article) and Senate Democrats continue to block these anti-choice, anti-women's rights appointments. Thank your Senators if they are holding firm on these right wing nominees (see vote on Pryor).
Write, call or meet with your Senators and their staff in your hometown while they are on recess during August. Further votes will be scheduled this fall on additional right wing nominees and activists need to let their Senators know that Americans deserve a fair judiciary that supports America's civil, human and privacy rights.
