6 Actions For Election Day
On Election Day, let's see change in this country. Let's get feminist candidates to Washington, D.C.! Here are six simple ideas of things you can do on Election Day to help secure feminist victories.
|
- VOTE!!! Be prepared for a long wait by bringing a folding chair or two -? you don't want sore feet to keep you from voting!
- One thing to know is that your right to vote is protected. Know your election protection resources -- if something goes wrong, you may need to act fast! In that vein, you can Twitter from your cellphone to protect the vote.
- Time to use your cellphone to get out the vote! Call your friends and remind them to vote, and tell NOW President Kim Gandy that you voted using Twitter. Sign up and let your feminist voice be heard.
- Elections can be an all-night waiting game. You can track the polling results on websites such as CNN. In the days after the election, go to the NOW PAC website to see how well feminist candidates did.
