VIRGINIA: VOTE FOR A FEMINIST VICTORY
It has been nearly a quarter century since Virginia went Democratic, but that is all about to change -- AS A VIRGINIA VOTER, YOU ARE KEY!
Share this email with other Virginia voters!
Virginia, with its 13 Electoral College votes, has taken center stage as an important swing state. NOW PAC endorsed the Obama-Biden ticket and we hope that Virginia voters will elect the ticket that will do more for women and families.
With Virginia's state elections in odd-numbered years, Virginians have the opportunity to give generously of their time to both the Obama-Biden ticket and to Judy Feder, a terrific feminist candidate running for Virginia's 10th Congressional District.
Scroll down for an invitation to an event for Judy tomorrow night, with special guest U.S. Rep. Barney Frank.
Before you vote on November 4, take a minute to locate or double-check your polling place. This election is so important, so when you go to the polls, bring friends!
Obama-Biden: The Ticket For Women
Why Do Feminists Support Obama? For more than a decade, Barack Obama has said "yes" to women's rights, while John McCain has consistently said "no" -- NO to pay equity, NO to contraceptive access and reproductive rights, NO to appointing Supreme Court judges who will uphold women's rights and civil rights, NO to funding shelters and other anti-violence programs, and NO to supporting working moms and dads with policies that support work/life balance.
We join with Sen. Hillary Clinton in saying "NO" -- No Way, No How, No McCain! And we proudly stand arm-in-arm with her in putting our hopes and our dreams, our hard work behind the next President of the United States -- Barack Obama, and his running mate, longtime friend and ally of women, Sen. Joe Biden.
Read NOW PAC's analysis about where Obama stands on the issues and a comparision of the presidential candidates on issues important to women.

Judy Feder: Experience and Vision for Washington
Judy Feder is challenging a 26-year incumbent, Frank Wolf, for Virginia's 10th Congressional District seat. You can attend an event for Judy tomorrow night, October 14 -- see the invitation below.
Feder is a recognized national expert on health care and a proud supporter of women's rights. In drastic contrast, Wolf voted against expanding the State Children's Health Insurance Program to cover 10 million uninsured children, not to mention voting with the Bush agenda 86% of the time. Adding to Wolf's anti-woman and family record, he voted against pay equity for women, and against tax relief for 23 million middle-class families.
Judy Feder will bring to Congress what Frank Wolf has neglected for years: affordable health care for all Virginians, pay equity for women and unfaltering support of Roe v. Wade. Join Judy in her campaign to bring comprehensive health care, dignity and equality to all!
