All NOW Actions Peace as a Feminist Issue		Join NOW at the March for Peace, Justice & Democracy On Saturday, April 29, activists from women's rights organizations, the peace movement, environmental groups, civil rights, labor, and religious communities will come together in New York City to march for peace, justice and democracy. We are uniting for change?ready to turn our country around! March Route and Schedule Confirmed Participants will gather from 10:30 am to noon along Broadway, north of 18th street in Manhattan. The march will begin at noon, proceeding south on Broadway, turning east on Worth Street and ending at Foley Square. Following the march will be a Peace and Justice festival from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Foley Square. More details on logistics are available online. Women's Rights Organizations: Set to March Together! With so many participants expected to march, contingents will form at designated blocks around Broadway. Organizations wishing to march with other women's rights groups will gather beginning at 10:30 am on 20th Street and Broadway (20th Street between Broadway and Park Avenue). Marchers are encouraged to enter from Park Avenue. Women's rights groups will be joined by Peace and Anti-war groups in a powerful contingent marching together. Get Involved Mobilizations of this size require hundreds of volunteers. Have fun, march, and be part of making the event a tremendous success. Sign up to join the fun. Whether you need a ride or want to find someone to travel with you and share the gas, check out the transportation information . Be sure to register your bus so we can send you information about drop-off and pick-up locations. Information on transportation within the city is also available.
