Action this Saturday, March 25!
Come to Harrisburg on Saturday morning,
March 25, from 9-11am.
Tell the Democratic Party that women
won't support candidates who don't support women's
rights. Ask the members of the Pennsylvania
Democratic State Committee to support an open
primary in all contested statewide races so that
the citizens of Pennsylvania can say who shall
represent them in Harrisburg and DC for the next
four to six years.
The Pennsylvania Democratic Senate Committee
will be holding their 2006 Nomination Recommendation
Endorsement Committee meeting at the Harrisburg/Hershey
Holiday Inn, 604 Station Road, Grantville (directions). The action will be held
outside, in front of the hotel.

activities around the 2006 elections.
This morning, the National Organization for Women Political
Action Committee endorsed Democratic candidate
Alan Sandals for the United States Senate.
Alan Sandals is a strong and articulate candidate,
a supporter of women's rights, and he believes as most
Pennsylvanians do: that Roe v. Wade must be preserved
if we are to protect every woman's right to privacy
and bodily integrity. Women can count on Alan Sandals
to protect the Supreme Court and federal courts from
nominees who would revoke our rights and cede our liberties.
more in our press release.
This race promises to be one of the most closely-watched
of the 2006 elections. Feminist voters have the opportunity
to send extremist Republican incumbent Senator Rick
Santorum packing. But we must not do so by trading away
our rights. The Democratic Party establishment recruited
and is backing staunch abortion opponent Robert Casey,
Jr. in the primary. But we will show them that this
is not a winning strategy. To run another anti-abortion
candidate against Santorum, as the Democrats did in
2000, will result in sure defeat. Join Pennsylvania
NOW PAC this Saturday at an action outside the endorsement
meeting of the Pennsylvania Democratic Senate Committee.
Get involved! Let us know if you would
like to be informed about opportunities to support women's
rights in the 2006 elections in Pennsylvania.
Please also forward
this message to as many of your friends and family
as possible. Thank you for standing up for women!
