NOW alerts our local members to this action being held by one of our allies in the struggle for economic justice:

SUPPORT UNIVERSAL LIVING WAGE

By Participating in Bridge the Economic Gap Day!

Who: Universal Living Wage Campaign www.UniversalLivingWage.org

What: The 3rd Annual National/Local Day of Action- "Bridge the Economic Gap Day"

Volunteers will be passing out pamphlets and holding signs to build awareness of the Universal Living Wage Campaign.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 4 2007
Dupont bridge location- 7:30-9:30 am
Key Bridge location- 4-6 pm

Where: Dupont underpass at Connecticut & Q St.
(use North/Q St. exit of Metro and turn right)
Key Bridge: near M St. in Georgetown
(volunteers will be escorting people to the bridge from the Rossyln Metro
station and the corner of 34th and M Street, NW)

Why: To Fight for Economic Justice!
