Voting Rights March ? D.C. Emancipation Day
Join D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty, Chairman Vincent Gray, Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, Representative Tom Davis, and Secretary Jack Kemp in the Voting Rights March on D.C. Emancipation Day.
NOW activists will join march organizers and continue our call for the U.S. Congress to give voting rights to the residents of the District of Columbia. NOW members passed a conference resolution in 1978 advocating for representation for D.C. residents.
