Please see the message below from our friends at the Communications Consortium Media Center and the National Council of Women's Organizations.

Feminist firebrand and longtime 9To5 director Ellen Bravo is coming to Washington, D.C. to promote her new book Taking on the Big Boys: Or Why Feminism is Good for Families, Business, and the Nation, which is coming out on April 25 - National Secretary's Day.

On April 10, Ellen will be speaking at the Women's National Democratic Club co-hosted by the National Council of Women's Organizations, Politics and Prose bookstore, Terry O'Neill and IWPR. The event will be held at 6pm at 1526 New Hampshire Avenue, NW.

At the event, Ellen will tell inspiring stories of her campaigns on the front lines of women's workplace battles, testifying before Congress and the Wisconsin legislature, appearing on Crossfire and debating CEOs, training firefighters on sexual harassment and standing with clerical workers during union drives. You are invited to attend!

Details are available on the Politics and Prose website.
