Calling Local NOW Activists!

Come out to the Ballston metro station on Tuesday night and meet with representatives from various NoVa NOW chapters. Help hand out fact sheets on the credentials of Supreme Court Justice nominee John G. Roberts Jr. and his stance on women's reproductive rights, civil rights and workers' rights. Also, encourage people to sign a petition to the Food & Drug Adminsitration (FDA) calling for the agency's approval of over-the-counter access to the Morning After Pill (MAP).

What: Hand out fact sheets on Supreme Court nominee John G. Roberts Jr.

When: July 26, 2005, Tuesday night at 7 pm.

Where: Ballston Metro, walk around perimeter during rush hour.

Why: Inform local Virginia residents about why Roberts should not be confirmed to the Supreme Court; ask residents to sign a petition calling for the FDA to approve MAP.
