A Little Herstory:
Fed up with TIME Magazine's Man of the Year cover, which almost exclusively features men, Ms. magazine announced its first Women of the Year awards in 1982. In response to the explosion of women's leadership nationally and globally, Ms. added a new tradition in 2003: highlighting the efforts of numerous women -- young and old -- who make a difference. You'll find this year's role models, along with the 10 outstanding Women of the Year, in our winter issue, which will be released at the awards breakfast and available on newsstands Dec. 21.

Thank you, as always, for your support. We hope to see you during our annual celebration.
