Title: [dc-zaps] Rally on 3/31 to Protect Overtime Pay!

Rally on 3/31 to Protect Overtime Pay

George W. Bush's Department of Labor is on the verge of issuing new rules that will make it easier for companies to require that people work longer hours without receiving overtime pay, and will make 8 million workers completely ineligible for overtime pay. This comes at a time when women and men are working more hours and spending less time with their families just to make ends meet.

The AFL-CIO is holding a rally outside a Bush fundraiser on Wednesday afternoon, in support of overtime pay. We hope you can join them.

It's a great opportunity to let Bush know he should be trying to help families make ends meet, instead of raising obscene amounts of campaign cash.

Here are the details:

Wednesday, March 31
4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Marriott Wardman Hotel
2660 Woodley Road
Washington, D.C.
(Woodley Park Metro)
