Words of Choice - engaging pro-choice theater created by Cindy Cooper and directed by Suzanne Bennett

A women's right to choose soars in a dozen powerful stories -- poignant, comic and somber -- woven into an ensemble play performed by a trio of actors. A teen tries to remember the name of a one-night stand; a father describes his feelings after his daughter is raped; a publicist describes the greatest invention in modern contraception -- the morning-after burrito. One right, many tales. Including the words of Judith Arcana, Justice Harry Blackmun, Angela Bonavoglia, Kathy Najimy, Alix Olson, The Onion, Michael David Quinn, Sherica White and others.

Developed and first seen in New York, Words of Choice is sponsored by Virginia National Organization for Women and supported by Today's Woman. Help change the conversation with stories about women's lives. All performances followed by a discussion with the playwright and others.
