D.C.-Area Volunteers Needed to Promote the March for Freedom of Choice Thousands of D.C. area residents are expected to visit the Arlington County Fair this week from Aug. 21 through Aug. 24. It will be a great time to tell people about the March for Freedom of Choice taking place in Washington on April 25, 2004. Volunteers are needed to staff Arlington NOW's fair booth and promote the March for Freedom of Choice. Available two-hour shifts are as follows: Friday, Aug. 22: 1-3 p.m. 3-5 p.m. 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23: 10 a.m.-noon Noon-2 p.m. 2-4 p.m. 4-6 p.m. 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24: Noon-2 p.m. 2-4 p.m. The fair will be held at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center, right off Route 50 (Arlington Blvd) and Glebe Road, and admission is free. The nearest Metro station is Ballston and there will be a shuttle bus to the Thomas Jefferson Community Center.
