[dc-zaps] Dec. 10: International Human Rights Day

Dear NOW activist:

Tuesday, Dec. 10 is International Human Rights Day. As part of our 
participation in the peace movement, NOW is organizing a "walk and rally" 
at Lafayette Park where the Women's Peace Vigil is taking place.  We invite 
you to join us on that day as follows:

What:  Peace Vigil and Protest
Where: Lafayette Park (Pennsylvania Avenue), Washington, D.C.
When:  Tuesday, Dec. 10, 12:45 p.m.

We will gather in front of the NOW office at 15th and H, NW, on the 15th 
Street side, and walk over to the Lafayette Park to join other groups 
involved in the peace effort. We will send a message to George W. Bush that 
women deplore violence and his administration's continuous attempts to 
dismantle and violate human rights in this country and abroad.

Please join us during your lunch hour. It's important - NOW more than ever!
