In the early 1990's we had a male come into our department .
He would say things like I am going to get rid of all the woman in this departmen and do away with the weekend overtime job because the woman working makes to much money.She makes more than me ;our then foreperson went along
with what ever he said.
Then he manged to get them to bring everyone to day and then
they did cut jobs and the woman on weekends lost her job,the
shift girls lost their. This man told me ever chance he got
when no one was there; that I was crazy and everyone new this. The comments got worse he wanted to know how I was doing with out sex and he would fix me up with a truck driver.
The next thing was to get in my space as close as he could and say things where no one could hear him; so that the others thought it was me.He would say things like the reason
I did not want to take xrays at the plant because everyone would know had bad I sagged.
I have asthma,arthritis,c5 & c6 in my neck are gone and I have lower back problems that were injuried at work in the
1980's lumbar disc disease. This man new all this he began to work early I was on 6:00AM job he would hold me down in the chair take his chin push on the top of my head knowing
I had C5& C6 RUPTURED! When working in my section and getting items off the bottom shelf he would take both hands on my should and push down.He also new I have bad knees and
a pin an plate in ankle this did not stop him.The more I tried the rougher the union guys made it on me and smart off
about haressment.I did go to the company when it first happen no union stewart would go with me I how to call outside of plant.Mind games were always played and he played the women against each other which was side most did
see what he was doing;making us look like the problem not him.
In 1999 I went to the office again once more I thought this
time he came in in front of the others got me around the neck then blew his smoke in my face knowing once again I have asthma.His little friend that he pulls down on the floor she would make angle wings for her :he likes her!He
also tried pushing her into me asking how she like breasted.
He said that we did not need senority in our department and
even though I had been there twentyfour years manged to take care of.He said if they took her out of the store he would she that I was gone.She threw her file papers at me because I did use my senority to take the desk job.
You can see that the pushing .pulling would cause more problems.My doctor took me off because of my back and I have been taking medicine for my nerves. When he sent me back Sept. 1999, he then took me back off until 1/3/00. The
company doctor said no more than 10lbs. no lifting bending,
climbing.Calgon sent me home Foreperson went to the office and they told me that they did not have a job for me. The union said when they took a male worker to see union attorney that I could go. Then they came back and told me no they would get in touch with me.I had to file for social security and waiting for a hearing the company turned me down for my retirement.They get the male worker back on the
job! No one was trying to get me back so I told them I will
try for retirement I am fifty single and disabled  the laws have done nothing the attorney I had said it was hard to win. They did send me to the other company doctor his nurse say they would change anything and why did they have me come
to them.I believe they were trying to take the limits off lifting. So she could her job.
As of now I called the union they tell me that they will set up a meeting but they never do; he said he would send the insurance to try to get my doctor to fill these out but
my doctor sent me back calgon sent me home and refuseing to pay .So now I take seven drifferent medicines and my parents
pay the copay.I have done everything I know but no one will
held.We have not come along way.Woman are tried like dirt . The company is still the good old boys and my union dues was
a waste.
I was called at home and ask about parts and told the other
girl order an itme 10.000 that we did not need.The other male clerk wanted to ask me.Hey, those guys sent me home and
made my life a living well you know what.This is area that everyone knows each other and the man that did this built houses for several company personnel.
Yes, I will fight and put this out there to all goverment offices.I will never give up and I would let them make a movie of life about this.It is the only way to fight the good old boys and I will fight.
