Black and Decker - Good Ol' Boys

Black and Decker has been the source of extreme stress for me. 
I continue to be amazed at their blatant mistreatment of women.
I'm interested in hearing of other stories regarding Black and Decker.
Currently making the rounds of the company is a "Sissy Box" the recipient of "The Box" has been dubbed a "Sissy" apparantly this is the worst imaginable insult.  "The Box" contains tampon's and other "female" stuff.  The managers are not even aware that this behaviour would be insulting to a women.  Am I being too sensitive?  
Black and Decker tends to ostracize and shun women until they quit and then they "refuse" their resignation, offering instead a "severance package" obtainable if the women signs a statement that she won't sue the company.  From some of the postings legal action seems to cause as much stress if not more than the original complaint.  
How do we get beyond this impass?
