my Story is a little different. After 11 years I purchased
the Flea market I had been at and now Own it. Just as I was
three months from paying off the last of my business loan
the building I lease was sold.
It is now owned by three men from india. They don't believe
women should have businesses. Though they are careful not
to admit this around others their actions are shouting it.
i have a two year option on my lease that comes up this Jan.
They are doing everything they can to keep me from renewing it.
Even though I have sent registered letter I intend to they are
now threatening to have the city inspect the building and if
not up to code they expect me to bring it up to code or move
out. Everything I have is in this business and I stand to
loose it in just a few months.
I need legal help but who can afford 150. an hour for a lawyer.
They offered my building to another guy for 145,000. but to me
they want 185,000. how can this be allowed. i never thought myself
prejudice and have delt with people from all over the world.
now I am being robbed of the american dream from an Indian
belief. Or perhaps a male belief. I would accept any suggestions.
I need help. Thanks you !!!!!!!!
