I worked at a Ginseng farm for 3 years and by the end of
time I worked there three of the employees, one being the boss decided that clothing was an option for them on this job...I was appalled and quite disgusted (regardless of what they may have looked like). I was also harrassed for being a christian and people (not me) were told by the boss that I was not allowed to talk of God, Jesus, or Christianity in general....eventually I quit for many reasons, one was that on two separate days I had to drive the 45 mins to the hospital, once for me and once for a co-worker. On these 2 occasions I was neither reimbursed for gas money nor for lost wages which amounted to a day and a half. The time I drove myself to the hospital I had received a head injury and the emergency doctors were shocked that I had driven myself into the hospital and filed for WCB on my behalf. Later I was accused of single handedly causing the WCB safety inspection that caused them to have to live up to the many safety rules and procedures that they used to break. This was such great harrassment that I had to find another job because I actually felt it to be rather hostile where I was, one day the boss would be nice as apple pie to me and the next she literally berated me for doing things wrong that I had done (RIGHT) the very day before when she was so happy with me. I am confused but does this still count as harrassment even though I am not a woman? The 3 of them still fully exposed themselves to me...they still discriminated against my religious beliefs and they still robbed me of money that was due to me.....DOES THIS COUNT AS HARRASSMENT EVEN THOUGH I AM A GUY?
