attack at work woman gets fired, man who attacked her still works there

Seven years ago, I was attacked (in the ladies room)while at work by a male co worker. I lost months from work, and over $10,000 in wages and benefits. I was left with severe mental problems as fallout from this incident. Since we are both bus drivers, I have been expected from time to time to transport him short distances. Each time this situation has arisen, I have checked off sick so I would not have to transport him. Last week, I was again faced with this problem of having to transport him, and was unable to do it. I tried to tell my boss that I COULDN"T do it. I was shaking and physically unable to drive. They fired me. I have been at my job for 21 years. My union is not helping me all that much. They seems to think they can save my job if I voluntarily move to another station several miles away. (I own a home 2 minutes travel time from my station now) and I have refused to do this. I have done NOTHING wrong here, and the person who did the wrong has not been inconvenienced, or reprimanded one smlll bit. I do not think I should have to move my station when I am the victim and nothing has happened to him for victimizing me. I am having a mental breakdown over this and am under Dr.s care. What can I do?
