I am a 19 yr old female high school drop out. I entered Mercury Aircraft as a welder through a temporary agency. They put me in a plant with all men, I was the only female. I was told that I was going to get hired on by the beginning of the year. My supervisor made sure that didn't happen. He told several of the men in my plant that he would't have a female working for him and I got laid off. Everyone in my plant doesn't think it's right for him to do that and are going to go to court with me to get my job back. I feel like I'm doing the wrong thing but my father is standing behind me all the way.
