I have never been so angry with my employer. I am employed in the health insurance by a well known company. But what have happen makes me wonder if I am still living in a free country. Last month we was told that our department was going to be move to Westlake, which is a surburb of Cleveland. No reason was given for this move. The majority of employee in my department are women and minorities and most live on the east side of Cleveland. Many takes the bus and are single mothers. The CEO's knows that.
Another thing that had just came out is that eventhough the company has an accused sexual harasser that is making a $20,000-a-month consulting deal, but the rank-and-file employees are facing a pay cut next year. Not only that but our hours are will be increase. As I said that many of the employees are women and minorities. And the management don't give a damn. I want to know how can I fight this. Many people have written to the newspaper and I have contract the Mayor's office and my Councilman also I notify the NAACP office. I haven't hear from them yet. I may not be able to stop what the company is doing, but I can make them more caring for there employee.
The company name is Medical Mutual of Ohio.
