Henry Saad
Nominated to the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. Currently a Michigan Court of Appeals Judge.
- Saad has a long history of denying rights to injured workers. In a majority of his past opinions, he either dissented from offering relief to an injured plaintiff or joined a majority rejecting many claims.
- In Fuller v. McPherson Hospital (No. 186762, 1998 Mich. App.), the Appeals Court reinstated a jury award of damages in a sexual harassment suit. Saad dissented with a two-sentence opinion. He stated only that the trial judge was right to find in favor of the hospital.
- A member of the Federalist Society, an ultra-conservative legal organization, since 1989.
