Call Your Senators Today - Demand a Filibuster

*Newsflash*
Restrictions on legal abortion increasing.
Women refused access to birth control.
Access to justice denied.

No, this isn't a newsflash from 1973; it's 2005. But we're fighting these battles and many more.

The most important of which is to defeat Judge Samuel Alito, who has been nominated to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court. Justice O'Connor has long been a defender of women's rights. We cannot allow her to be replaced by a fanatical, anti-abortion judge.

Are you Enraged? Get Engaged! We need you to defeat Alito.

Don't miss this one-time opportunity to be a part of this intensive campaign to protect women's rights.

There is work to be done, both in Washington, DC and throughout the country. As a part of Freedom Winter 2006, NOW and Feminist Majority Foundation are working together to bring grassroots activists to DC between January 3 and January 20. We're also encouraging activists to organize in their communities.

We need you in Washington, D.C. to staff our Defeat Alito headquarters. We'll help arrange local housing; just give us your time.

  • Help activate other supporters of women's rights
  • Focus attention on key senators
  • Work together with activists from around the country to plan actions and raise awareness

Additional Information:

We need you in your community to help us mobilize supporters throught the country.

  • Be a constant presence at your Senators' district offices
  • Plan local "Defeat Alito" actions
  • Activate supporters in your community in the Women's Campaign to Defeat Alito

We know you have what it takes. Make history as we mobilize to defeat Alito.

Get engaged! Register online!

**If you live in the DC metro area and have room to host an activist traveling to DC, please let us know!**
