Women of Color Will Gather at Reproductive Health Conference in Atlanta August 29, 2003 by NOW Staff Women of color and allies will gather in Atlanta in November at a national conference on reproductive rights and sexual health issues. NOW Action Vice President Olga Vives will speak on a conference panel about the challenges of organizing women of color for reproductive rights. The conference, organized by the SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective and co-sponsored by NOW, will bring together women of color activists, health care providers, policymakers, white allies and men to discuss and develop strategies for improving the reproductive and sexual health of women of color in the U.S. Conference themes include:
