Inauguration Inspires Feminist Action

NOW activists will be attending the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20 as well as related events throughout the month. With millions of people participating in these festivities, this is a unique opportunity to reach out to women's rights supporters, tell them about NOW, and encourage them to get involved.

It doesn't matter if you're going to be in D.C. or not, we want feminists across the country to take part in this petition effort. Download and print out copies of our Equal Pay petition, and get as many signatures as you can. Please mail your filled-out petitions back to the national NOW office as soon as possible, and we will deliver them to Congress. We also suggest handing out our Feminist Agenda mini-flyers, which are an easy way to spread the word about NOW and invite feedback on our action priorities for the next administration and Congress.
