Project Stand Up for Women
Project Stand Up for Women is NOW's international program to combat anti-abortion clinic blockades and to
defend women's access to reproductive health services. Through this project, NOW has trained tens of
thousands of abortion rights activists in the direct defense of women's rights at the clinics.
The Project's three-pronged strategy includes litigation, political pressure, and the direct defense of women's
rights at medical clinics -- all to ensure women's continued access to reproductive health care. Project Stand
Up For Women has grown into an international effort, training activists across the U.S. and in Europe.
