The rally, which is being organized by the Bay Area Coalition for Our Reproductive Rights (BACORR), will feature speakers from leading women's rights organizations, including Trust Women, California NOW, World Can't Wait, Radical Women and Slutwalk, with music from The Raging Grannies and Ziva Hadar.

Special guest speaker Joyce Hamilton Henry, Ph.D., Director Mid Florida Regional Office ACLU of Florida will speak on the current status of Reproductive Freedom and the expected upcoming challenges to Roe v. Wade this year both in Florida and across the nation.

Brevard NOW and Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando: Roe v. Wade Anniversary Celebration

Join Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando as we celebrate the 39th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court Decision. Northeast Missouri NOW
Jan. 2012
For the month of January, to support Roe v. Wade, NEMO NOW will be distributing and putting up yard signs to promote Pro-Choice in their largely pro-life and very conservative area. The blue and white signs say "Choice is a Community Value." This is a combined effort of Northeast Missouri NOW and the Tri-Rivers Planned Parenthood in Missouri.

Montana

Montana NOW: Film Screening & Panel Discussion
Wednesday, Jan. 25 • 7:00 p.m.
Location: Montana State University- Bozeman, Procrastinator Theatre
Montana NOW, in coalition with Montana Advocates for Sexual Health, MSU Students for Choice, and Bridgercare, will host a screening of The Abortion Diaries, a documentary featuring 12 very different women who speak candidly about their experiences with abortion. The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion.

New York

Pro-Choice March in the South Bronx to Defend Reproductive Freedom
Celebrate Roe v. Wade - 39 Years of Choice

Saturday, Jan. 21 • 11:00 a.m.
Location: Dr Emily Women's Health Center 560 Southern Blvd, in the Bronx
(6 train to E. 149th or BX-19 bus to Southern Blvd./E. 149th)
Attacks on a woman's right to control her body are on the rise, from daily harassment at abortion clinics to regressive legislative maneuvers. Join New York City NOW for a Pro-Choice march from Dr Emily Women's Health Center, through the South Bronx neighborhood, to one of the nearby "Crisis Pregnancy Centers." This center is the hub for many of the anti-choice organizers who harass women outside of Dr Emily clinic on a daily basis. We'll be gathering at Dr Emily Women's Health Center at 11 am (come earlier if you wish, escort training will be provided) and setting off on the walk at around 12 noon.

Greater Rochester NOW

North Carolina

NC NOW: Pro-Choice Signature Ad
Wednesday, Jan. 18
To commemorate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, NC NOW runs an annual state wide pro-choice signature advertisement. The ad includes names of people who support choice in the centerfold of the Independent. NC NOW later delivers copies of the ad in a packet with other information to the NC Senators and Representatives in the House. Names are being collected now.

Raleigh NOW: Real Money for Fake Clinics
Thursday, Jan. 26. • 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Location: Temple Beth Or - Congregation Hall, 5315 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh NC 27613
The 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade brings more challenges than ever before in NC. Fake women's clinics are all over the state, and now NC will collect money for them. "Choose Life" license plates fund fake clinics whose sole purpose is to dissuade women from having abortions. These clinics are known as Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs). They often place themselves near real medical women's clinics and try to attract women with unintended pregnancies. Find out about these fake clinics which are all around us.
