Who can forget this scene from 2003 when Bush signed the abortion procedure ban? Supreme Court Upholds Abortion Procedure Ban Not since Bush v. Gore has the Supreme Court made such a political decision, or one that so completely distorts the law and disregards the U.S. Constitution. Five justices, including Roberts and Alito, ruled that the law does not violate a woman's constitutional right to an abortion. Support NOW's work on abortion rights. NOW fully supports access to safe and legal abortion, to effective birth control and emergency contraception, to reproductive health services and education for all women.
