The historic attitude of the mainstream medical profession towards women's reproductive health, and particularly that of mentally disabled women, has left much to be desired. And NOW has worked for nearly 30 years to change those attitudes, and the treatment that came with them. Dr. Foster has devoted his life to ensuring that women receive the full range of reproductive health care, and he deserves to be judged on his entire record.
