Jerrie Cobb is a 67-year-old aviator with more than 50 years of experience. She began training for the space program in 1959.  At that time, she had logged over 10,000 hours of flight time, twice as much as any of the other trainees, including John Glenn.  Nonetheless, she was denied the opportunity to fly because NASA deemed women unsuitable for space travel.  NASA still won't let Cobb fly even though she is qualified, fit and ready to serve the space program and science.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is willing to lobby NASA on Ms. Cobb's behalf, but she needs your help.  Send letters of support for Jerrie to Ms. Clinton (email or fax 202-456-2461) or circulate NOW's petition.
